LOMILOMI HAWAIIAN HEALING ARTS INTENSIVE - MARCH 3-10, 2012
Offering at Kilauea Caldera

Spend a week learning Hawai'i's traditional spiritually based healing art.
Experience the beauty of the Big Island of Hawai'i, it's culture and sacred sights.

This course is designed for Licensed Massage Practitioners who are proficient in Swedish Massage and who are interested in a week-long study of Hawaiian Massage and the Hawaiian Healing Arts.
The purposes of this Intensive are to:
· Introduce practitioners to a traditional style of Hawaiian massage marked by the
use of specific intention and focus combined with fluid forearm techniques for
connecting, treating and healing the whole body.
· Introduce practitioners to specific deep tissue Lomi techniques and to a deeper
exploration of the Hawaiian Healing Principles and methods of treating the whole
  person.
· Introduce practitioners to a variety of movement and meditation techniques
designed to increase skill in accessing deep states of meditative focus and
energetic connection with clients, as well as graceful, heart-inspiring forearm
massage strokes, and fluid weight/leverage body mechanics which support long-
