Hawai'i's traditional spiritually based healing art.
Experience the beauty of the Big Island of Hawai'i, it's culture and
sacred sights.

This course is designed for Licensed Massage Practitioners who are
proficient in Swedish Massage and who are interested in a week-long
study of Hawaiian Massage and the Hawaiian Healing Arts.
The purposes of this Intensive are to:
· Introduce practitioners to a
traditional style of Hawaiian massage marked by the
use of specific intention and focus combined with fluid
forearm techniques for
connecting, treating and healing the whole body.
· Introduce practitioners to
specific deep tissue Lomi techniques and to a
deeper
exploration of the Hawaiian Healing Principles and methods
of treating the whole
person.
· Introduce practitioners to
a variety of movement and meditation techniques
designed to increase skill in accessing deep states of
meditative focus and
energetic connection with clients, as well as graceful,
heart-inspiring forearm
massage strokes, and fluid weight/leverage body mechanics
which support long-
term practice of massage.
